libra fest

so many amazing libra ladies with birthdays this month.
first twiggy, maia, lex, and then ME !!
i love it but, i'm going broke.

my birthday plans are pretty exciting but it's getting complicated.
first a bbq and then a day trip upstate to go apple/pumpkin picking.
i'm still trying to arrange the cars and map out the final destination.
my fingers are crossed that i can work it all out.

speaking of birthdays, here are pictures from ben's.

Karlheinz Weinberger

from rocky roads to smooth sailing
uphill battles against inner demons
starting Fall, falling down
still sloppy after all these years

1964 World's Fair

finally going to be making my way to Flushing Meadows Park. i've always loved the idea of visiting the historical relics left behind from the 1964 New York's World Fair. on this visit we are finally going to see the NY panorama at the Queens Museum of Art. very excited for the days to come.

july pros and cons

july is underway and i have made a short list of my ups and downs. which go as follows:

awesome shit
got new sewing machine, and have been using it
finally got new gov't photo id, as well as a new social security card coming in the mail... which means i'm well on my way to getting my drivers permit.
got my tattoo filled in, it looks great
new swatch obsession
financially secure
buying and acquiring a lot of great new/old music
have been making new friends and keeping the old
finally got hard drive working, backed up music/photos
living fast

bummers
maybe living too fast
vices and vices and more vices
loneliness
a lot of weekend days wasted sleeping all day
still have 'no game' and am just generally awkward around the attractive of the opposite sex
gained back 5 of the 10lbs i lost
still have NOT joined a gym
still have NOT bought myself a bike
procrastination not peaking, but persisting
